Freddie, beloved “Chiweenie” of John Paul & MaryEm Medeiros, crossed over the Rainbow Bridge August 4, 2017. He was 15 years and 8 months old.
Freddie was born in Sarasota County Florida on December 8, 2001. He was adopted by the Medeiros family in April of 2012. His best friends were Mamabear, Poppa, Moe, T-T and Emmie. He had a biological brother, Phil, who had been adopted in Florida. His favorite toys were his “Squeakie” and “Foxie”. He enjoyed eating out at O’Brien’s pub in Newport, cruising in the convertible with his “pack”, visiting and getting groomed at Designer Dogs, and trips to Colt State Park and Newport’s 10 mile drive. He hated the rain. He liked to sleep in bed with Mom and enjoyed eating grilled or baked salmon.
Some of the memories that Freddie left for his family are their trip to the concert at Hampton Beach, NH, Mother’s Day picnic in Cape Cod, and dressing in his Halloween costumes. John Paul and MaryEm will miss the snuggles at bedtime with Mom and Sip & Dip Cruise Night with Dad. Freddie brought many happy times to the Medeiros family. He was a special part of the family and will always be missed and loved.
