Scrappy was born in LadyLake, FL under her pet grandmothers house on November 25th, 1999 during Thansgiving week. Scrappy was born with three siblings (two sisters and one brother). Scrappy and his brother Hash Brownie drove back home to Massachusetts with their pet mom Deborah Ring and their sisters stayed with their pet grandmother down in Florida. Hash passed at age 15 and Scrappy at age 20. Scrappy was Deborah’s son Eric’s cat, but was best known for being everyone’s kitty. During the time the Ring family had Scrappy, he met a soon to be pet parent Ernie and Ernie and Scrappy bonded immediately. He also grew up with siblings Asylum, Tonka and Drayco. Tonka and Scrappy had a special friendship. Tonka would nudge at Scrappy for a lick or a kiss and Scrappy would obligue.

Scrappy loved running around the house late at night chasing his ball with bells and especially his catnip mice. Scrappy’s favorite place was his desk chair in the den. At Christmas time he would enjoy opening his gifts from Santa Paws. He always knew the holidays were special because he would get table scraps when the family was done eating, he loved Deborah’s homemade gravies and deli cheese was one of his favorite foods.
Scrappy’s nickname used to be Fat Cat because his stomach reached the floor but once he got on a diet he became the skinny Minnie Scrappy for the last 5 years of his life. Eric’s girlfriend Devin used to sit and pet him all the time and he would cry for her to sit with him and pet him.
Scrappy was very loved by all of his family human and fur alike. He will be dearly missed. I know your brothers and sisters will be with you on the rainbow bridge. Until we meet again, Love Eric, Debbie, Ernie, Devin, Tonka and Drayco.
