Obituary

Pip Gibbons Watt the Jack Russel Terrier was born on November 29th, 2008 in London to her pet parents Alison and Padraig and had one sibling Torin. Pip was affectionately referred to as “Pip”, or “Pippy”. Some of Pip’s best friends throughout her life were Torin, Alison, Padraig, and Deborah. Her favorite toys to play with were here little squeaky ball and her pink bone. Pip’s favorite activity was chasing the ball, sunning herself, and meeting new people. Her least favorite thing was the rain. Pip’s favorite place to sleep was her cozy spot by the fireplace, or on her parent’s bed. Pip’s favorite food was salmon. Some favorite memories that Pip’s pet parents had were running through the fields of Pennsylvania with Torin by her side, going to the river. Sitting with her on the rock at pebble beach in the sun. Pip’s parents also fondly remember walking her at Surf beach with Padraig and a picnic. Torin taking care of her and them becoming friends. Her travels to Fifth Avenue and Central Park are also very fond memories. Pip’s parents also remember her great excitement while opening Christmas presents. Pip running through the grass on a hot day in Greenwich Park, London. They also reflected on seeing her play search and rescue in the long grass of Peckham Rye park. Walking her up Mount Snowdon when she was little. Watching her jump in the snow for the first time with Deborah when she was a puppy. Drinking tea with her in first class sleeper trains while traveling to the snowy highlands. Lastly, snuggling on the sofa, having her “tummy tickle”, and her soft brown velvet ears.

A really happy walk in November on 3rd beach which she loved. The sun was shining as she loved and she enjoyed this cuddle. We both did. Happy memory.

Some favourite memories of Pip:

Running free through the field in Pennsylvania with Torin by her side to the river.

Sitting with her on the rock at pebble beach in the sun.

Walking her at Surf beach with Padraig and a picnic.

Torin taking care of her and them becoming friends. He loved to look after her.

Traveling down Fifth Avenue with her after walking in Central Park.

Her excitement at opening presents at Christmas.

Running through the grass on a hot day in Greenwich Park, London.

Seeing her play search and rescue in the long grass of Peckham Rye Park.

Walking her up Mount Snowdon when she was little.

Watching her jump in snow for the first time with Deborah when she was a puppy.

Drinking tea with her on my lap in bed in a First Class Sleeper Train cabin on the way to the Highlands when it was snowing outside as we watched the mountains pass by.

Snuggling with her on the sofa. She loved a tummy tickle. Her soft brown velvet ears.
