Obituary For Alexander Wiik

On October 23rd, beloved pet/family member 16 year old, Yorkshire Terrier Alexander Wiik, aka " Aleiki and Big Boy" crossed Rainbow Bridge. Alexander was born in South Korea and adopted in 2009 and sent to Connecticut to be with pet parents Deborah Wiik and her husband David. Besides his pet parents, Alexander is survived by siblings Brussels Griffon Sophie, Pekingese Gwenny and Siamese Lola. His best friends were Ellen Ashton, known as "mamma" and David Wiik. Alexander didn't realy have a favorite toy, he just liked to lounge in his pet bed. He enjoyed going to get groomed, which is something he got a chance to do the week before his passing. He also enjoyed taking walks, and hanging around with the family. His least favorite thing was being outside in cold or inclement weather. Alexander's favorite place to sleep was underneath the piano bench. His favorite food was anything edible, but most of all it was chicken jerkey and canned food. Deborah and David's favorite memories of Alexander are; A time when he was so excited to see Deborah come home, that he jumped up so high, he fell over backwards! He used to walk on his hind feet with his paws up, and it was easy to encourage him. In his later years, he liked to sleep over at the house of Deborah's mother Ellen, where he was spoiled and content.
