On September 7th, 2022, beloved pet/family member, 10-year-old Tabby cat, Elijah Ameen aka “Elijah Bear, Eli, Chicken/Chicken Nugget” crossed Rainbow Bridge. Elijah was adopted January 2017 in New York. He is survived by “pet parents” Marissa Ameen and Derek Gomes, 8-year-old pet brother Xray and 2-year-old human sister Ember. His best friends were Tommy and Ember. Elijah’s favorite toy was his catnip pillow. His favorite activity was eating, especially chicken, which was his favorite food. His least favorite things were most people (he really liked mom, dad, sister, and Tommy. Brother was tolerated, ha-ha) and when his food bowl was empty. Elijah’s favorite place to sleep was on a pillow next to mom. Elijah provided many memories for his family. Their favorites being the day mom successfully got Elijah to come out of the basement after 8 months of hiding when he was first adopted, Elijah curled up under the Christmas tree with all the gifts one year, dressing him in silly outfits and anytime Elijah and Ember were together.
