Obituary For Peaches Simmons-Stevens

On January 3rd, 2023, I, 3-year-old rabbit Peaches Simmons-Stevens aka “Peachy, Bunny Bun Bun Bun” crossed Rainbow Bridge. I was adopted on March 6th, 2021, from the Providence Animal Rescue League by my “pet parents” Harold Stevens and Heather Simmons, who were also my best friends. My favorite toy was layered cardboard. I loved to chase and terrorize the cats when I wasn’t ripping all the wallpaper off the walls. I hated squash of any kind. I wasn’t too fond of the pigeon. My favorite place to sleep was underneath the bed on my mom Heather’s side. My favorite foods consisted of dried oatmeal, fresh or dried fruit and oxbow lollipops with apples. I provided many loving memories with my parents. Words from Peaches’ parents” Every single day with Peaches was pure joy. Coming home to him made the worst days better and good days even happier. If you called him, he immediately came running. When you opened the fridge, he appeared for fresh snacks. He loved physical affection and would flatten out completely when being petted and snuggled. The house doesn’t feel like a home anymore without him and his death has left a rabbit-shaped hole in our hearts. We hope you’re binkying without constraint and eating all the oats you want to wherever you are.”
