Obituary For Princess Gaspar

On May 17th, 2023, beloved pet and family member, 12-year-old, Lab/Bullmastiff mix, Princess Gaspar aka “Baby Girl” crossed Rainbow Bridge. Princess was adopted in November of 2011 from Animal Rescue of Rhode Island. Her best friends were Tulip and the late Pugsley. Princess’ favorites toys were any ball or item that could be thrown or chased. Her favorite foods were pretty much anything a human would eat. Homemade meals of chicken or beef with brown rice and vegetables were her main diet. Princess’s least favorite thing was kibble. Her favorite place to sleep was in “pet dad” Ken’s bed. Princess provided many memories with her dad Ken. Princess was always ready to go out, she would go and grab her leash bringing it to him to tell him that she wanted to go out. She was a great dog and got to the point where she no longer needed the leash. She could sit in the front yard and people would walk by with their dogs and she would not leave the boundaries of the yard. Princess loved being loved and she received plenty of that!!!

From dad Ken “Princess, my baby girl, you came into my life and brought me so much love and were the best friend I could ever ask for. Thank you for the years of love and joy you brought! Whenever things seemed at their worst you would be right there, nosing your way in to cheer up the moment. You got me through some tough times, and I miss the times when you would rest your head in my lap just wanting to be pet, continually offering your paw until you got what you wanted. You came in and immediately befriended Pugsley and he you. When we lost Pugsley, I could see it affected you and after some time we brought in Tulip whom you immediately became a mother too and I can tell she loved you as well! You brought happiness and joy to everyone you encountered and every day that goes by is another day that you are missed. Dearly loved in life, deeply mourned in death, you are constantly in my thoughts and in my heart. I will look for you at Rainbow Bridge, my Princess, my Baby Girl, No longer by my side, but forever in my heart. Love you Forever.

We will miss seeing Princess in the office when daddy (Ken) would bring her down to visit. Ken, you are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

I loved Princess from the second she bounded into the office with all her bubbly, puppy excitement to the very end when she had her difficulties but was still her big beautiful sassy self. I'll miss the videos of you snoring and will remember you always!
