On October 26th, 2021, 11-year-old Himalayan Rabbit, Saffron Jackson crossed Rainbow Bridge. “Saff, Saffy, Sassafras, Sweetie” as he was known to his pet parent Heather Jackson, was born on June 1st, 2010, in Grand Forks, North Dakota. Besides his pet mom Heather, Saffron is survived by bunny sister Peter, who was his best friend and human sibling Lyric. He now joins his sister, who was also his best friend, the late Simone Jackson who passed away August 2020. Saffron’s favorite toys were blankets, towels, apple tree stick and toilet paper rolls. He loved chilling with Peter on blankets, eating treats and chewing up paper. He disliked getting his nails clipped. His favorite place to sleep was on the blankets with Peter. Saffron’s favorite foods were cilantro, oats, and kale. Saffron was such a sweet rabbit and he bonded with all the other bunnies so well. He was so loyal to them and literally, never fought any of them. Mom Heather just loved his personality and how he managed himself with the other bunnies. He was so sweet and chill and went with the flow.
