In January 2022, I 4-year-old Guinea pig, Basil Cross reunited with my late sister and best friend Frankie on Rainbow Bridge. I was adopted by my “pet mom” Meghan Cross in the month of June 2022 in Scituate, Massachusetts. She would call me Basey-May and Basey. Besides my mom Meghan, I am survived by siblings, sister Guinea pig Ginger and puppy sister Ellie, whom are also my best friends. I loved to play with toilet paper rolls and eating spinach. Besides spinach, my favorite foods were cilantro and kale. I dislike having to take a bath and get my nails clipped. My favorite place to sleep was inside my hut. I have many loving memories with my family. Our favorite memory is when I was adopted. Though it was during Covid, I made myself right at home with Ginger and Frankie.
