Obituary For Bella Guzman
Bella, a beloved 16-year-old Yorkie from Boston, Massachusetts, was a tiny dog who left an enormous place in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved her. She was also lovingly known as Biscachi and Hadidi, and was the cherished companion of Alexinice Shibazaki Guzman and her family.
Bella's favorite toys were your hands and blankets, and her favorite activities were napping and cuddling. She absolutely loved being carried or curled up on someone, and if there was a pile of clothes nearby, you could almost guarantee Bella would find it and make herself comfortable. She was not a fan of baths or walking for too long - Bella knew conserving her energy for a good nap was far more important!
She had a special love for chicken nuggets, but she could never resist the opportunity to steal a hot Cheeto. If she spotted one, she would go absolutely crazy trying to get to it. For such a tiny girl, Bella certainly knew how to get what she wanted.
One of the family's favorite memories of Bella happened on a day when no one had seen her for quite some time. Hours passed, and no one could find her anywhere. The family began to worry that somehow this tiny little dog had escaped. Everyone searched the streets, hoping and praying someone had found her. As the sun went down, the fear Bella might truly be gone became very real.
That night, after everyone returned home, the family sat down for dinner, heartbroken and worried. Later, while in her mom's room, Alex suddenly heard something moving inside the closet. At first, it was almost impossible to believe. They had called for Bella countless times, assuming she wasn't even in the house.
But there she was!
Bella had been home the entire time, peacefully napping on a pile of clothes in the closet.
Bella's life was filled with those little moments that become the biggest memories - the cuddles, the naps, the stolen snacks, the blankets, and all the times she simply wanted to become close to her people. She may have been small in size, but her personality and the love gave were anything but small.
Rest peacefully, sweet Bella. You were loved beyond measure, and you will never be forgotten.
