On July 20th, 2025 beloved Blackie Brennan crossed over the rainbow bridge.

Blackie aka Blackie boy or Baby boy, the Maine Coon, in 2014 on an April day appeared in his family's yard, sleeping under the shed. Until they brought him a soft bed which he gratefully accepted. His favorite things to do included chasing chipmunks and squirrels, rolling in bird seed husks, basking in the sun and sitting in the shed surveying the yard. He loved his trout feast, tuna, mackerel, duck and his kibble soaked in water.

His families favorite memory of him was siting in the yard every morning and night, waiting for Mama to bring him food. Then walking with her into the shed in the last months of his life and being pet while he ate.

Blackie was incredibly loved and will be missed furever.
