Obituary For Blue Reis

With heavy hearts, we say goodbye to Blue, an American Parakeet, a beloved companion whose gentle presence, loyal spirit, and unconditional love brought comfort and joy to everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Blue had a special way of making ordinary days brighter. Whether greeting loved ones with excitement, singing, talking to himself or talking to his bird siblings; Chappell, Church and Beaky, playing with a favorite shredding toy or swinging on his favorite swing, Blue brought the joy with him. Blue was a reassuring presence to his mommy Katelyn, and he filled her room with warmth and joy when he took flight.

Blue will be remembered for his love of treats, Blue got very messy eating his favorite treat blueberries. His favorite place to nap was in his rainbow swing. He also loved sitting in his mommy’s hand or flying with his brother Church around her room. These small but meaningful moments became treasured memories that will be carried forward with love.

Blue will be deeply missed by his mommy and his bird siblings. Though his time here was not long enough, the love he gave remains a lasting gift.
