Chico passed peacefully on April 16, 2026, at the remarkable age of 19 ½ years old. Born in North Attleboro, Massachusetts, Chico lived a long, love-filled life as a cherished member of his family.

Affectionately known as “Mr. Nubbkins,” “Chico Rico Suave” and “Cheeky,” Chico's personality was as vibrant as his many nicknames. He shared his life with his devoted pet parents, Bill and Sue Wilson, who adored him beyond measure.

Chico now reunites over the Rainbow Bridge with his beloved siblings Maggie, Happy and Val. He leaves behind Rose, Ronnie, Gunther, who will carry his memory forward with love. He also shared a special bond with his best friend, Miss Sharon.

Chico was a dog of simple but strong opinions - he never met a food he didn't like and eagerly accepted treats at every opportunity. While he loved being near his people, he made it quite clear that kisses on top of his head were not appreciated. Instead, he preferred affection on his own terms, often from his favorite perch: the back of the couch, where he could nap peacefully while keeping a watchful eye on his home.

Among the many treasured memories Chico leaves behind are his endearing quirks, including his fascination with opening locked gates.

Chico will be deeply missed, forever remembered and always loved.
