I, Chloe “The Queen” Green-Nantais, a 17-year-old, American shorthair cat was born in May 2005. I was found in a box on the side of the road, alone and abandoned. I was then brought to a local shelter where a woman named Emilie adopted me and presented me as a gift to her best friend, then my 16-year-old “pet mom”, Courtney Greene for her birthday. On Thursday November 3rd, 2022, I crossed Rainbow Bridge. Besides my “pet mom” Courtney (Greene) Nantais, I am survived by my “pet dad” Brandon Nantais, human siblings Josey and Avery Nantais and dog brother Loki. They lovingly nicknamed me “Queen Klo, Ki-Ki and Gingersnap.” My mom Courtney was my best friend. My favorite toy to play with was cat grass. I loved to sunbathe, take cat naps, and lay in a kitty cave, which was when my humans would have to lift their blankets and hold them up so I could have a cave. It was my favorite place to sleep. My least favorite thing was a dirty litter box. My favorite food was wet cat food, which I would constantly beg for even though I had an unlimited amount of dry food. I had been with my mom Courtney for over half of her life. Through the good and bad and for all the most important events of her life. I know she considered me so much more than just a pet. I was her first baby and a very important member of the family. To my family, especially my mom Courtney, thank you for a wonderful life. Love you always- Chloe.
