Obituary For Esmae Cote

In Loving Memory of Esmae Cote-Mikulski

Esmae, a beautiful Fire Point Siamese, passed away on August 13, 2026, at the age of 16. Born at home on March 2, 2010, Esmae filled the lives of her loving pet parents, Matthew and Lisa, with warmth, companionship, and countless cherished memories.

Affectionately known as Honey Pie, Bully, Queenie, and Mama’s, Esmae had a personality all her own. She knew exactly what she wanted and had the sweetest way of making sure she got it—especially when it came to being brushed or petted. With gentle taps on an arm, she would patiently insist until someone gave her the love and attention she deserved.

Esmae shared her home with her K-9 brother, Tonka, and her cat siblings, Saki and Boots. Boots and Tonka were among her best friends, and her bond with them brought joy to the household. One of the family’s favorite memories was watching her play and box with her fur sister Bootsie—a moment that captured her spirited and loving nature.

She loved her little rattle mice, her circle scratcher, kitty zoomies through the house, and inspecting every new box that came through the door before claiming it as her own. Esmae also enjoyed peaceful moments being brushed and lounging in the catio, soaking up the sun as if getting a tan. At rest, she could often be found near Mom’s pillow on the bed or tucked comfortably along the back of the couch.

Cheese and cat treats were among her favorite indulgences, but what Esmae loved most was being close to her family. She brought comfort, laughter, and a special kind of love that will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew her.

Esmae Cote-Mikulski will be deeply missed by Matthew, Lisa, Tonka, Saki, Boots, and all who were lucky enough to be part of her life. Her memory will live on in every sunny spot, every cozy pillow, every cardboard box, and every gentle reminder of the joy she brought home.
