In Loving Memory of Fenway

Fenway, a beloved Shih Tzu-Dachshund mix, passed away on April 9, 2026, at the age of 15. Born on December 3, 2010, he spent his life bringing love and companionship to his family in Pawtucket, Rhode Island.

Fenway was more than a pet, he was "Mama's baby"," deeply cherished by his devoted pet parent, Lyndia T. Jacques. He shared a special bond with his sibling, Rhody, and together they created countless memories filled with love and companionship.

Fenway had a playful spirit and a gentle soul. His favorite toy, Lamb Chop, was never far from his side, and he loved games of tug-of-war, playful chases, and relaxing on the porch, watching the world go by. He especially enjoyed car rides, whether it was an adventure with his mama or outings with Auntie Kathy. Walks with his sibling Brody were among his happiest moments.

He had his quirks too - Fenway was not a fan of grooming. His favorite place to sleep was either curled up close to his mama or tucked beside her bed, where he felt safest and most loved. He also had a soft spot for Chewy's Twisters, his favorite treat.

Fenway's life was filled with simple joys, unconditional love, and deep companionship. Though he may be gone, the love he gave and the memories he created will live on forever in the hearts of his family.
