Obituary For Graymalkin Zanger

On September 18th, 2023, beloved pet and family member, 16-year-old, Graymalkin Zanger aka “Grayby, Graybo” crossed Rainbow Bridge. Grayby was born on June 20th, 2007, in Massachusetts. He is survived by “pet mom” Barbara Zanger, human siblings Tony and Allyn Ashton, cat siblings Max and Blossom. His best friends were Boo Boo, a late pet cat from the family that was adopted alongside Grayby in 2007. Grayby loved his treats and loved going outside and lounging in the backyard, regardless of the weather or season, and he loved getting pets by loved ones. He was always a calm and chill cat. Grayby’s favorite places to sleep were on the windowsills, but he loved the one in the office the most. Towards the end, Grayby wasn’t big on eating, but if you ever showed him treats, he bolted towards you. The treats definitely provided extra comfort for his last days. His family will always cherish their favorite memories which consisted of how they could create “conversations” with him, since he was a very vocal cat. They would meow back and forth with him for several minutes at a time. They will mis picking him up and giving him warms hugs. He was also a big drooler. He would wake up his sibling Tony in the morning by cuddling him in bed and drooling on his face. In the end, he was their childhood pet, and they were so blessed to have had him for so long and are grateful for all the memories they did share with Grayby. He will be in their hearts forever.
