On March 27th, 2022, beloved pet/family member, Albino Budgie Parakeet, Hedwig Whitman aka “Heywig, Good Good Birdie, Sweet Girl” crossed Rainbow Bridge. She was happy and adopted by “pet parents” Lexi and Shayla on July 1st, 2021, in Fall River, Massachusetts. Besides her “pet parents” Lexi and Shayla, Hedwig is survived by siblings Pig, Sunny, Snowy, Albie and Tiger. Pig was her best friend. Hedwig’s favorite toy was popsicle sticks. She loved watching her brother play and crawl on top of their cage. Her least favorite things were feeling itchy and eating her millet quickly. You could find Hedwig sleeping on her favorite perch or eating her favorite foods, which were millet and the fancy kind of seeds. Hedwig’s favorite memories of her are them watching her dance in the living room bobbing her head up and down, and how she loved to try and say hello when her mom called her name.
