Kobe

Also known by his nickname Bubs.

Kobe was a beautiful 14 year old pitbull who was loved so deeply by his family, mom - Molly Lewis, dad - Christopher Lewis, sister - Nora Lewis , brother Dean Lewis . He was born on February 6th, 2012, and had a hard first year of his life until I adopted him one year later in February of 2013. It was love at first site, he jumped into my arms and we never let each other out of site ever since. He was truly my best friend and half of my soul. He loved walking the beach and sunbathing every chance he got. He was so patient with his little sister and brother and always stayed close while they played. His favorite foods were peanut butter, feta cheese and used to love his blueberries! In his younger years he loved playing frisbee and chasing a tennis ball. He hated being away from us and rainy days were the worst even with a rain coat and umbrella - he hated his paws getting wet. He slept in bed under the blankets with us every night. He helped me through so much in my life, I was 18 when I adopted him and from then on he helped me through some of the hardest moments to being there for the best. He was able to watch me get married, have two babies, and moved through a few different homes. He adapted so well through every change and never complained.

I’ll miss just cuddling on the couch watching movies and every sunny day when there is a cool breeze I’ll know he’s by my side because that was his favorite kind of day. Kobe made an impact on so many peoples lives and will be missed for the rest of our days.
