On April 18th, 2023, beloved pet/family member, 9-year-old, Tabby cat, Lance Derosiers aka “Lancy Lance, Sir Lancelot, Lancy Poo, Lancy Wancy, Lance Corporal, Handome, Lancy Pancy” crossed Rainbow Bridge. Lance was adopted on November 7th, 2015, from Friends of Taunton Animal Care Facility in Taunton, Massachusetts. Lance is survived by his mama Madison, “pet grandparents” Chad and Erica, Aunt Alex and best friends and siblings cat sister Penny, dog brothers Gunner and Gabe, and dog sister Gracie. Mama Madison is forever Lance’s #1 best friend. Lance’s favorite toys were his cat tree and catnip. He loved hunting, sleeping, suckling, gallivanting, and giving headbutts. His least favorite things were staying in the house, cuddles, being held and other cats in the yard. You could find him sleeping in any of his favorite places, boxes, cat houses, a sunny windowsill, and the left side of the love seat. His favorite food was the dog’s food (he’d steal it), freeze dried chicken and Royal Canin. Lance was loved very much and shared many memories with his family. Some of their favorite memories include the day they went to adopt him and first saw him. He was headbutting the cage, when the dogs would see him, they would kiss him, when Grace was kissing him too much, so he put her paw on the side of her face and held it away and how gentle he was with Madison as a toddler.
