On June 25th the Gonsalves family said goodbye to Louie. Ever since she was a duckling, she was the sweetest of the bunch and only wanted to sit on your lap and cuddle. As she got older, that didn't change. She loved being in the water, whether it was her kiddie pool outside, or coming inside the house for a special swim in the tub and hanging out with her humans. Although nothing could compare to the bond she had with her mate, Peach. He would follow her no matter where she went and they would cuddle together after a long day of being ducks. Her favorite snacks were definitely peas and cherry tomatoes but she also enjoyed slurping worms up from the yard like noodles and the occasional frog she would find in the pool. We will certainly miss our Louie hugs and snuggles, but she's with her sister George at peace now. We'll take good care of Peach for you until you're reunited again. We will love you always Louie!
