On December 6th, 2023, I, 3-year-old, gray, striped domestic short-haired cat, Mac Griffin crossed Rainbow Bridge. I was born on October 7th, 2021, and adopted from the Woonsocket, Rhode Island Animal Shelter by my “pet mom” Yesenia Griffin. Besides my mom Yesenia, I am survived by my “pet grandparents” James and Marilyn Griffin. My best friend was Rocky, a 1-year-old Belgian Malinois. We would play around and chase each other through the house. My favorite toys were my tiny mouse plushies along with my koi fish on a fishing rod, that I would jump up to catch when someone would dangle it in the air. My favorite things to do were to look out the window and take naps. My favorite place to sleep was in my mom Yesenia’s bed. I would always curl up right next to her as I slept through the night. My favorite food was the Chicken Entrée wet cat food and lobster, shrimp and cat nip flavored Temptation treats. I was able to share many loving memories with my mom Yesenia. One of her favorites is seeing how excited I was, the year I received my first cat tree for Christmas; I loved jumping to the very top and scratching the posts that were attached and flicking the pom poms that were included. For that memory and all others, and all the love you gave me…. I thank you mom and love you for always….
