Obituary For Marley Costa
“THIS LITTLE GIRL WAS LOVED MORE THAN ANYTHING IN THIS WORLD” On Saturday, October 22nd, 2022, beloved 12 ½ year old, Black Lab Retriever, Marley Costa aka “Marla, Mimaw, Marl, Mar, My Baby, My Girl” crossed Rainbow Bridge. Marley was born on March 16th, 2010, in South Carolina and adopted in Connecticut in May of 2010 by “pet mom” Jennifer Costa. Besides her “pet mom” Jennifer, Marley is survived by “pet uncle” Glenn and “pet grandparents” Diane and Glenn, and siblings Jetta, Gemma, BoBo and Mia. Her best friends were Jetta, Gemma, Bobo, Mia, Diane, and Jen. Marley’s favorite toys were her donut toy and anything with a good squeaker, and her snowball. Some of her favorite activities were playing with her donut toy and greeting everyone with it. She loved celebrating birthdays, opening Christmas presents, stealing cat food, car rides, snowy days so she could play in the snow, laying in the cool weather mornings on the deck, following her mom Jen wherever she went and getting brushed and pet. Marley disliked the word “EW”, it was one of her least favorite things, along with the heat, medicine in pill form, pretzels, and people knocking on the door. You could find her sleeping in one of her favorite spots, either by mom’s bed at night or in the living room during the day. Marley’s favorite foods consisted of avocado and sweet potato, bananas with peanut butter and Barkbox treats. Marley provided many memories for her family. Their favorites being: The first time they met Marley, she came running to mom Jenn out of everyone there, Marley stopping her foot for attention, hitting them with her paw for more pets, getting offended every time someone said “EW”, watching her get excited for dinner time with her toys, playing dress up with wigs, her bulldozing their arms when she wanted something, her on Christmas mornings, and mom Jenn coming home from work and being greeted by Marley with a toy that was picked just for her. Again: “THIS LITTLE GIRL WAS LOVED MORE THAN ANYTHING IN THIS WORLD”

Grandma Costa
Mar, you brought so much love and happiness to each and everyone of us. You filled my days!, , with you I always felt your love and your protection. The toys you would pull out of your toy boxes , picking just the one you wanted to bring to us ,, seeing you go to the other toy box if the one you wanted wasn't in the first one you looked was just so funny , because you were so smart. We would have lunch everyday with you sitting on my right side so happy. Everyday for 12 years you were the happiness , the love the everything in this house which is now so lonely without you. You are and always will be soooooo loved and missed more than words can speak. I have such an emptiness in my heart ❤️ One way or another I know we will meet again. Rest In Peace my beautiful girl,,,
