On August 22nd, 2022, beloved pet/family member, 16 and ½ year old, Tortoise Shell cat, Momma Kitty Peirson aka “Mumzies, Beautiful” crossed Rainbow Bridge. She was found walking across Atwells Avenue in Providence at rush hour and saved by “pet mom” Heather Peirson. Besides mom Heather, Momma Kitty is survived by “pet dad” Jose Jones, human sibling brother Joseph Jones, who was also her best friend, and siblings Moo and Cai. Momma Kitty preferred pets and cuddling but did enjoy catnip and the laser pen. She loved sleeping outside in the hedges or a sunny window. When she wasn’t sleeping, she loved her pets and cuddling. She was obsessed with attention and enjoyed sharing love with all. She disliked the bunnies, cords, or anything that resembled a snake. Momma Kitty’s favorite place to sleep was with her brother/best friend Joseph, or by mom Heather’s head. Her favorite food was shrimp. Momma Kitty provided many loving memories, the family’s favorites: Being woke up by her each morning. Zoomies through the house, sitting with mom Heather on the couch, her funny snaggle tooth and how she was with her kittens and her unconditional love for everyone. She was patient and sweet. They will miss her loud purr and love.
