On October 1st, the Gonsalves family lost the final member of the original ferret clan, Murray. Since the day he was brought home, all this little man wanted to do was play. His favorite toys were his fishing pole, his cat toy, his mom's shoes, and his sisters Gerry and Stubbs. He loved getting on his big brother Duke's nerves and pushing the limits of what he was allowed to get away with. He loved no one like he loved his mom, Ashley though. While his grandma begged for kisses and cuddles, he reserved that special for his mom. One of his favorite activities was grabbing his mom by the hand and attempting to stash her in his favorite hiding places. This quirky little fella would let you know he wanted attention by biting your ankles and staring deep into your soul. He adored chasing anyone and everyone up and down the hallways of the house. Once he got older and his siblings passed, he became like a house cat. He ate breakfast with his grandma every morning, followed her around while she did her chores, and "helped" put the groceries away by inspecting the contents of everything bag. He really loved nothing more than to just be a part of our family. There will be an unfillable hole in our hearts and home with him gone, but we will always look back on all of our favorite memories with him and smile. We love you and miss you Mr. Murray but you're at peace with the rest of your ferret family now. Until we meet again little man
