On December 14th, 2022, beloved, 7-year-old, Myia Grandgeorge unexpectedly was called home to the Rainbow Bridge. Myia was born April 21st, 2015, in Warren, Rhode Island with her brother and sister before meeting her forever dad Jason Grandgeorge. Myia, also known as “Big Momma”, “Baby Girl”, “Big Girl”, “Baay Bah” was best friends with the late Sparky Grandgeorge. He taught her the ropes of cat life with love. Myia’s favorite activities were resting with her mom and dad, watching tv shows involving animals, grooming, and certainly eating! Her least favorite thing was dealing with her half-brother, dog Andy. She would love sleeping in bed with mom and dad, always making sure to take up all the leg room. Her favorite food was eggs scrambled. A favorite memory from Myia’s dad: “My favorite memory is of my baby coming home. The first day we met, she was so unsure and scared, but once I gave her all the attention and love, she built trust. It is a beautiful thing to see love and trust grow in a bond and she was the first to allow me to feel the love.” Myia leaves behind her dad Jason, her mom Amanda Neveu, her uncles Mike and Brian, her Grammie Rebecca, and her half brother Andy. Myia was truly a gift, simply the sweetest, smartest, perfect girl. She will be forever missed but forever in our hearts. .
