On October 7th, 2023, beloved pet and family member, 6-year-old, Guinea Pig, Oreo Saunders aka “Mr. Mans, handsome man, buddy” crossed Rainbow Bridge. Oreo was adopted on December 23rd, 2017, in Rhode Island by “pet parents” Emily and Niko Saunders. Oreo was greeted by his late Guinea Pig brother, Chip. His best friends Chole the dog, Shawn, and Tina. He loved running around and under the kitchen table chasing Chloe. This was his favorite thing to do. He did not like being pet on his sides. Oreo’s favorite place to sleep was on the dog bed and his favorite food was carrots. One of my and dad’s favorite memories of Oreo is him going outside in the summer eating all the grass.
