Obituary For Pepper Roni
On May 26th, 2023, beloved pet/family member, 3-year-old, Domestic Short Hair cat, Pepper Roni aka “Mamas, Peeper, Pepperoni” crossed Rainbow Bridge. Pepper was born in the month of February 2020 and adopted by “pet parents” Kassidy Morales and Matthew Campbell on April 3rd, 2020. Besides parents Kassidy and Matthew, Pepper is survived by her big sister Olive. Mama Kassidy was Pepper’s best friend. Her favorite toys were anything that crinkled, and she could eat! Pepper loved napping with or without mom and dad and nibbling on dad’s fingers. Her least favorite thing was the bath. Pepper’s favorite places to sleep were ither on top of the recliner, on her special pillow on the couch or on mom and dad’s bed. She loved whipped cream and ANY kind of meat. Pepper provided many loving memories for both mom and dad. Their favorites include:
“Cuddling with her when I’d get home, from anywhere really. Her little footsteps followed me around the house while I did tasks. Her always running into the kitchen when I’d use the whipped cream, she’d start scream meowing until I gave her some.” – Mom
“Getting home and Pepper headbutting my hands while I try to untie my shoes. Pepper stealing my seat on the couch as soon as I’d get up. Her coming onto the bed every morning for cuddles when she was a kitten” – Dad
More words from Mom-
“Pepper was absolutely the best cat in the world, and we would give anything to just hold her one more time, to hear her little meow and purrs again. Pepper always loved being a part of what we were doing. When I got up, she was right behind me. If I was folding laundry, Pepper was lying on the corner of the bed. She would even lay outside the kitchen while we cooked dinner. She loved those Sheba meat sticks, she turned into a maniac for one. Any kind of meat, she loved. She also loved ice cream, cheese, whipped cream, pancakes, and the list goes on. She LOVED candy wrappers. We’d have to chase her for them, it was almost like she thought it was funny. She loved being held on her back like a baby and having her belly and chin rubbed. She’d nibble on her dad’s fingers just like a kitten. We were always dressing her up, doing TikTok trends with her, just being goofy with her, and she never once resisted. She truly was amazing. “
