Obituary For Peter Theriault
On March 31st, 2023 beloved pet and family member, 16 year old, brown and black Domestic Shorthair Tabby, with beautiful yellow/amber eyes, Peter Theriault, aka “ Pete, Bubbah, Wubbah, My Sweet Boy” crossed Rainbow Bridge. Peter was born in the month of February 2007 in Rhode Island and then adopted by “pet mom” Andrea Theriault in the month of April 2007. Besides “pet mom” Andrea, Peter is survived by kitty mom, Tiger Lilly and kitty sister, Tinkerbell. Everyone that Peter met was his best friend, but mostly mom Andrea. His favorite toys were a good old fashioned box, hair elastics, fake mice, lights, laser pointers and reflected lights. Peter’s favorite things to do included snuggling with mom Andrea, stealing people food, especially black olives, playing fetch with hair elastics, climbing in mom’s plants when she would go to the bathroom. Peter disliked closed doors, especially if mom Andrea was on the other side, when Tiger and Tink would fight, going outside and riding in the car. You could find Peter asleep in one of his favorite spots, on the back of the couch right next to mom Andrea’s head, or in her warm spot on the couch when she would get up and against her chest under the covers in the bed. So you could say, his favorite place to sleep was anywhere with mom Andrea. Peter’s favorite foods were sour cream, ice cream, chicken and black olives! Pete never met a treat that he wouldn’t eat. Words from mom Andrea and her favorite memories of her precious boy Pete: “As a kitten, Pete made off with not 1, not 2, but 3, 8oz Filet Mignon steaks that I had cooked for dinner with friends and left unattended on the kitchen table. Every single one was bigger than his tiny kitten head. Despite never going outside, he was an impressive and accomplished hunter and ate many flies. He once left me a leg-less cricket and even caught an errant bird that had the misfortune of making it into our apartment. All the snuggles are the best memories though.”
