Obituary For Pudge Weeks

With heavy hearts, we celebrate the life of our beloved hedgehog, Pudge, affectionately known as “Pudgy Poo.” Though her time with us was far too short, Pudge filled every day with laughter, comfort, and unforgettable memories.

Born in New Hampshire, Pudge found her forever home when she was adopted on January 8, 2023 by her loving pet parents, Caitlyn Weeks and James Nicolson. At just 3 ½ years old, she peacefully crossed the Rainbow Bridge on June 30, 2026, leaving behind a family whose lives she forever changed.

Pudge was a tiny hedgehog with a giant personality. When the house grew quiet each evening, that was her time to shine. She would eagerly hop onto her beloved red running saucer, racing what seemed like endless marathons through the night.

She had a mischievous side and never missed an opportunity to sample whatever delicious dinner leftovers she could find on the dining room table. Her favorite treats included dried mealworms, chicken and ground beef, and she enjoyed every bite.

When it came time to rest, Pudge loved curling up in her cozy wooden hollow or snuggling into her soft pouch, often content to nap peacefully on the laps of those she loved the most. Bath time and cold weather were two things she simply could not appreciate.

Pudge was surrounded by a loving family that adored her. She in lovingly remembered by her parents, Caitlyn Weeks and James Nicolson; her human siblings, Brenna, Christian and Kenzie; her fur siblings Murphy the cat and Remi the dog. Pudge now reunites with dear companions Fitz and Prince who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge.

Rest peacefully, sweet Pudge.
