On November 13th, 2013, beloved pet/family member, 12-year-old, Chihuahua mix, Regina Brooks aka “Pretty Girl, Princess” crossed Rainbow Bridge. Regina was adopted in 2010 in California by “pet parents” Ola and Kenneth Brooks. Besides her parents, Regina is survived by siblings Jordan Brooks, Julian Brooks, Buddy Brooks, and Jackie Brooks. Her favorite toy to play with was a squeaky orange balloon dog. That was only because the family would put peanut butter on it. Regina’s favorite things to do were sitting in the bay window, barking at bystanders going on car rides. She could do without having to go out into the rain or snow. Anywhere under a comfy blanket was her favorite place to sleep. As far as having a favorite food…any human food was her favorite. Regina provided many memories for her family. A favorite, anytime she rode in the car. WORD FROM THE FAMILY: “Our little Princess was adopted in California with the name, Honey. That name wouldn’t do so, Regina it was! Our sweet girl was the most relaxed little thing you could ever meet (after she got to know you of course.) She would sit in the window and bask in the sunlight, occasionally barking at the meanies walking by her family home. Regina loved going on car rides especially if it had a stop at a drive-thru window. She never turned down a treat. We could always hear her walking around the house. Her claws tapping on the floor all hours of the day. If she wasn’t roaming around or sitting in the window, she would be tucked tight under her blanket snoring away. Regina was the sweetest, easy-going dog. We will miss her little taps all around our home. We love and miss you, our little Princess. Xoxox”
