Obituary For Roxanne Conti

On Saturday evening, October 2nd, 2021 at approximately 8:30pm, at Grandma's and Grandpa's house, 9 1/2 year old female, Brindle Great Dane, Roxanne Conti crossed Rainbow Bridge. Roxanne aka " Rox, Roxie, Scoobie Doo,Scoob, Silly Girl, Silly, My Beautiful Little Girl, My Pretty Little Girl, My Baby Girl" was born on April 6th, 2012. She was adopted a year later on April 6th, 2013 by pet dad, Nicholas Conti. Besides her dad, Roxanne is survived by brother Shih-tzu, Bear. Her best friends were her dad Nicholas and Black Lab Myles, who used to live down the street. Roxanne's favorite toys were her large Hedgehog squeaky toy and her Large Kong weighted toy, that she would push and topple over to get the treats out of the hole in one side. Roxanne's favorite activity was sleeping with dad, and getting belly rubs. She loved the actual car rides with her head feeling the breeze, whenever going to the park. She disliked going to the vet and walking in the dark. You could find Roxanne sleeping in her favorite places; with dad on his bed, the couch and her Big Barker Temperpedic dog bed. Her favorite foods consisted of hamburger, hotdog, peanut butter, homemade beef jerky from 90 % grass fed ground beef, nonfat plain yogurt, doggie ice cream, and cannoli treats from Woof Woof Pet Boutique, where she loved to visit with her human friends. Roxanne provided many loving memories for dad Nicholas. Some of his favorites will always be; Roxanne scratching up grass at Independence Park and enjoying rolling around in it. Roxanne and Myles use to love to run and play in Myles' back yard. Whenever her and Nicholas would walk by Myles' yard, she would look for him. After playing Roxanne and Myles would drink a ton of water. There wasn't a person that she wouldn't greet in a happy, easy going manner. She used to growl at Nicholas when it was feeding time, and he will always remember how she loved to sunbathe. Roxanne would tap her tail on the couch, bed, or floor when she wanted Nicholas' attention. When he would start talking to her and get closer to her, the tapping would get so fast until he would pet her and kiss her. Then it would stop. Once he stopped petting her, the tapping would begin again until he pet her again. He would have to sit next to her and keep rubbing her belly and chest for her to be content.
