Ruby the domestic short haired cat was born on June 3rd, 2007 in Ithaca, New York. She was adopted by her owner Bellamie on July 12th, 2017. Ruby went by the nicknames of Rubes, Ruby Dooray Doo, and Rubix Cube. The name of Rubys pet parent was her mother Bellamie Russo. Her pet sibling was Cheddar, her feline mother. Rubys best friend throughout her life was her mother Bellamie. A favorite toy of Rubys was her circular scratchy board; however, she chose to sit on it and then scratch the couch instead. Some of Rubys favorite activities included sleeping, cuddling with her mother, birdwatching, midnight yowling, waking up mom, sitting in the sun, and laying on toys instead of playing with them. Some of Rubys least favorite things were boring flavors of cat food, the vacuum, and not being allowed to scratch furniture into shreds. Her favorite place to sleep was on top of her mothers chest. Rubys favorite food was crunchy chicken treats. Rubys familys favorite memories with her were helping Mom study for college by sitting on her books, napping in the sunlight, and settling in on a comfy blanket with mom to watch a movie. Ruby died on August 29th, 2020.
