On August 30th, 2023, beloved pet and family member, 13-year-old, white, domestic shorthair cat, Soma Bastille aka “SoSo, Marshmallow, Lil Polar Bear” crossed Rainbow Bridge. Soma was born on March 17th, 2010, in Fall River, Massachusetts. He is survived by “pet mom” Elizabeth Bastille and siblings Sasha, Dante, and Pandora. Soma’s best friends were Lulu, Sasha, Dante, Pandora, Roxie, Minnie, and anyone that came in the house. His favorite toys were socks and tissues. He loved cuddling, blocking doorways, and stealing socks. These were his favorite things to do. Soma could have done without baths and dogs barking. These were his least favorite things. When it was sleep time for Soma, his favorite places to do so were in the hallways, doorways and on shoes. His favorite foods consisted of turkey, cheese, and whipped cream. ALL memories made and shared with Soma are mom Elizabeth’s favorites, but the one that she cherishes the most is how his ears wiggled when she would give him a bottle when he was a kitten.
