Obituary For Toby Carvalho

On August 10th, 2023, I, 12-year-old, Black English Lab, Toby Carvalho aka “Bubba Fruity Pops, Toby Boby” side by side with my niece and best friend, Lilly Carvalho crossed Rainbow Bridge. I was born on June 26th, 2011, in Westport, Massachusetts. I am survived by my “pet parents” John and Mercedes Carvalho, human sister Skylar, cat sister Dutchess, and bunny brother, Piper. My favorite toys were tennis balls, that I would try to stuff as many as I could into my mouth. Three was my limit. As far as my favorite thing to do is concerned, I was always happy to be included in anything, but swimming was my favorite. When it came to playing at the beach, I grew fins. I would swim for hours if mom and dad let me. I was a happy boy, proud to be around. There wasn’t anything or anyone I really did not like. My favorite place to sleep was at the foot of my parent’s bed, stretched out to take up as much room as possible, or directly on my mama. I was a food connoisseur. I loved any and all food! Sometimes it didn’t have to be food. If there were trouble to be found, I knew exactly where to find it, especially if food was involved. If there was a way to get to food, I would stop at nothing. I was such a sweet boy that my parents could not stay mad at me for very long. I was my dad John’s first dog and most favorite swimming partner when we would jump from the docks together. For all the unconditional love, I thank you mom and dad-all my love, Toby
